About Depth Hypnosis
Depth Hypnosis is an experiential, transpersonal approach that uses a lightly altered state of awareness to explore your inner world, access insight and inner guidance, and work with patterns that may be difficult to reach through talk therapy.

What is Depth Hypnosis?
Depth Hypnosis is a spiritual counseling method developed by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. It weaves together transpersonal psychology, hypnosis, Buddhist Psychology, Applied Shamanism, and energy medicine.
Depth Hypnosis uses a lightly altered state of awareness to help you explore your inner world, recognize underlying patterns, and access forms of insight that may be less available through ordinary analytical thinking. The process may involve emotions, sensations, imagery, memories, intuition, symbolic material, or a sense of inner guidance.
Depth Hypnosis has a transpersonal dimension, meaning that it leaves room for experiences of meaning, interconnectedness, spirituality, and aspects of experience that may feel larger than the ordinary sense of self. You do not need to adopt a particular spiritual or metaphysical worldview to engage in this pricess.
Depth Hypnosis has also been studied as a therapeutic approach. In one study, participants reported significant reductions in symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD, along with improvements in wellbeing.

What Sessions Are Like
One of the things I value about Depth Hypnosis is that it gives us another way of knowing besides ordinary conversation and analysis. By slowing down and shifting attention inward, clients often notice emotions, sensations, imagery, memories, associations, and intuitive connections that can be difficult to access through talking.
In this state, you remain aware and able to communicate throughout the process. I guide you in noticing what emerges and exploring it with curiosity. Rather than imposing an interpretation, we pay attention to the meanings, associations, and patterns that become visible and consider how they relate to your present life.
From here, I will lead you through a guided process to help you get to know and heal various dimensions of yourself. We will explore your inner world in a way that goes deep into your subconscious mind for deep self-discovery, access to inner wisdom, profound insights, and healing.
Some people initially feel hesitant about hypnosis because they worry about losing control, being controlled by someone else, or not remembering what happened. In Depth Hypnosis, you remain able to speak, give feedback, move, pause, or stop throughout the process, and most people remember the session clearly.
